Financial Manager

Job & Company Descriptions A leading company in the design, manufacturing, and distribution is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Financial Manager to permanently join our team. You will play a key role in financial planning, cost control, and analysis, ensuring that our operations run efficiently and profitably. Duties: Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. Costing: Oversee cost accounting processes, ensuring accurate cost allocation for all products, including working with Bill of Materials (BOMs) and ensuring that costs are in line with budget expectations. Work in Progress (WIP) Management: Monitor and manage WIP to ensure project costs align with forecasted budgets and timelines. Stock Management: Develop and implement stock control measures to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing stock-related costs and risks. Imports & Exports: Manage financial processes related to imports and exports, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and assisting with cost calculations, customs duties, and tariffs. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, track performance against budget, and provide recommendations for financial improvements. Financial Controls: Implement and maintain robust financial controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and external regulations. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance and continuous professional development. Qualifications & skills: BCom Degree At least 5-7 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
