A well-established industry leader is seeking an immediately available Financial Manager to permanently join their finance team. The main goal of this role is to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective cash flow management to support operational and strategic decision-making . Duties: Statutory Reporting: Ensure compliance with all statutory financial requirements and prepare necessary reports. Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial data. Annual Financial Statements (AFS): Prepare and finalize the company's AFS in compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards. Monthly Management Reports: Compile monthly management accounts, providing insights into financial performance, variance analysis, and budget tracking. Cash Flow Forecasts: Prepare and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations and strategic initiatives. Year-End Financial Process: Manage year-end financial close, including preparation for audits and ensuring all accounts are finalized on time. Provisional Tax Compliance: Calculate and submit provisional tax returns, ensuring adherence to relevant tax regulations. Financial Controls & Processes: Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior finance team members, providing guidance and support for their development. Qualifications & Skills: BCom Degree A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience.
