Financial Manager

The role will require you to make recommendations to improve profitability throughout the company.Major Areas of Responsibility:Providing Financial Management Support to subsidiaries within the GroupProject manage the integration of acquisitionsFinance related functions in the Groups shared servicesTake responsibility for the financial reporting of subsidiaries to ensure that the relevant monthly financial results are timeously and accuratelyEnsure compliance with accounting requirementsParticipate in keeping operational management continually aware of the financial state of the operations and provide advice on financial and internal controlImplement high standard of internal controls within the subsidiaries to protect company assets and ensure compliance with auditTake responsibility for automating and improving processes within the FinancePrepare and submit accurate annual income taxActively participate in successful completion of statutory audits at year end within the prescribedResponsible for the completion of the annual financial statements.Participate actively in the budgeting and forecastingEnsure compliance at all times with company law, taxation law and accountingOther adhoc duties Job Requirements:Min BCom Hons Accounting qualificationStrong analytical skillsAdvanced ERP, Excel and computer skillsExperience in data analytics with ODBC/SQLGood communications skills essentialMinimum of 5 years commercial experience
