Financial Manager

The successful incumbent will be responsible for executing all finance and reporting functions for South African and Namibian entities.Primary responsibility for this role will be to provide accurate and complete financial information, analyse accounting data, prepare reports, perform close processes and consolidation.Duties Include:Review journal entries, balance sheet reconsMaintain fixed asset registersPrepare monthly profit and loss statementsPerform variance analysis on GL accountsManage close processesOversight of creditors and debtors reportingSummarize financial status by collecting informationAssist in preparation of board reports and group reporting packsPreparation of annual financial statementsManage external audits, addressing and solving audit queriesManage financial governance and control processesProcess improvementManage and guide finance team staffComply with financial legal requirements (Tax, VAT, IFRS)Prepare budgets for RSA and NamibiaAssist the Finance Executive with ad hoc projectsEducation:CA(SA) qualifiedJob Experience & Skills Required:5 to 7 years post-articles experience within a financial management position, and a strong focus on reporting is essentialLogistics or courier industry experience preferredExpert Microsoft Excel skillsStrong analytical skillsStrong understanding of financial business processesBusiness acumenMeticulous attention to detailDeadline drivenApply now!
