An events company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Manager to support their CFO in overseeing the financial operations of their four companies. You will blend technical accounting expertise, strategic financial planning, and strong leadership to ensure accurate consolidation, client settlements, and operational finance management, including event wrap-ups and reconciliations. Working closely with the CFO, you will drive financial performance, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with international regulations. As part of the Business Management Team, reporting directly to the Executive Team, you will play a key role in shaping the companys financial strategy. As a Financial Manager, you will be responsible for the following:Financial Consolidations:Support the consolidation of the financials for all four companies, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.Oversee the preparation of financial statements with significant involvement from the CFO, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Operational Finance Management:Manage the financial aspects of event operations, including wrap-ups, reconciliations, and client settlements.Ensure timely and accurate reconciliations of event revenue, costs, and cash flow.Oversee client account processes, including invoicing, payments, and financial reporting related to events and festivals.Financial Reporting & Analysis:Develop and present financial reports monthly and quarterly to the Executive and Business Management Teams.Assist the CFO in analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial projections.Strategic Financial Planning:Partner with the CFO on strategic initiatives, focusing on cost management and budget adherence.Support financial decision-making with insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis. Accounting & Compliance:Ensure the integrity of accounting records and accuracy of financial data.Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.Oversee compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.Team Leadership & Development:Lead and mentor a small finance team, promoting continuous improvement and professional development.Provide training and support to team members, ensuring high performance standards.Qualifications:Competed Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualifications are advantageous. Experience:6+ years of experience in financial management with consolidation expertise.Strong background in accounting and financial reporting.Proven experience in operational finance management, including event reconciliations and client settlements.Payment Solutions or Fintech background would be beneficial.
