Financial Manager

The successful candidate must have prior experience working in either engineering/manufacturing/mining/construction. You must consider yourself a hands-on team player with good managerial skills, who is a good communicator, with excellent time management skills and has the ability to work under pressure. Your duties include, but are not limited to:Preparation of monthly and annual financial accounts to audit including account reconciliations and complianceDocumenting the companys financial status and forecastsFinancial planning and reportingCompliance with all tax and other statutory reporting (Tax; VAT; Dividends Tax; CIPC; COID; Employees tax; Individual Shareholders tax)Analysing trends and industry standardsManaging the operation and development of the finance department.Creating and reviewing policiesBudgeting & forecastingRecruiting and training staffCash flow and cash flow forecastingGroup requirements such as insurance (PI; Assets and Group life), pensions fundsPreparation, planning and completing annual B-BBEE Certificate - Construction sectorEducation:Completed Degree in AccountingRelevant other post graduate qualification advantageousJob Experience & Skills Required:Minimum of 10 to 15 years of consistent experience in a managerial positionIndustry experience in Engineering/Mining/Construction/ Manufacturing advantageousExperience with SAP Business One, Enterprise, Power BI and Sage 300 requiredAdvanced Excel and Word skillsSolid Financial Data Analysis knowledgeCritical reporting and thinking skills neededAssertive personalityAbility to cope under pressureExcellent communication skillsTeam PlayerDeadline drivenMeticulous organisational and time management skills APPLY NOW!
