Qualification:
Matric with Maths and Accounting
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
Requirements:
Minimum five (5) years working experience in Financial Management
Preferably in a manufacturing environment with specific reference to the related leadership competencies and supervision of staff
JDE and Hyperion System experience advantageous

Responsibilities:
Ensuring sound and effective financial management by effective forecasting and cost-saving initiatives
Developing financial strategic operational implementation plans aligned to strategic objectives (Business Planning Management) that includes medium-term business plans
Managing and monitoring working capital effectively to ensure smooth operations and maximize profitability
Providing accurate financial information monthly, business financial reporting, reconciliations, compiling financial packs and tax computation reporting in line with IFRS accrual accounting
Effective people management, mentoring and development to ensure continuous improvement within the finance department
Strong ERP processing skills with a deep understanding across the platform functionality
Ensuring the effective management of Risk, Safety and Quality through risk assessments, implementation and management of behavioral-based safety, task analysis and quality management to ensure zero tolerance for unsafe acts and acceptable levels of safety incidents
Regularly reviewing controls around stock and materials are implemented and adhered to
Developing, implementing and managing annual financial operational plans and project plans that are aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization
Building and maintaining a competent and motivated workforce by managing performance, conflict and development within the department
Building solid customer and supplier relationships with auditors, legal, bankers
