Financial ManagerReference: CAW005438-CH-1Location: Johannesburg North, GautengDuties & ResponsibilitiesAn exciting opportunity has come available with our client who is looking for a Financial Manager.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Managing a team and overseeing all functions for the teamActing as a Bank Signatory, including releasing EFT payments and updating creditor banking detailsAuthorizing journalsManaging the Point of Sale (POS) system, including releasing purchase ordersReviewing balance sheet reconciliations and conducting income statement analysisReviewing monthly statistical reporting and Group charges, including Group VAT submissionsPreparing Quarterly Statistical Reports for STATS SAHandling year-end audits and budgets for Support Services, including preparation and consolidation of accounts, assistance with Group Consolidation, and preparation of annual financial statements for Dormant companiesPreparing flash reports, monthly reports, quarterly reports, and forecastsAssisting departmental management with queries and budgetsManaging monthly group support services fringe benefit company car schedules for payroll, including deduction schedulesConducting monthly budget vs actual variance analysisEnsuring control procedures are in place and operating effectivelyHandling ad hoc Group management accounting tasksMinimum RequirementsA Bachelor of Commerce degree in AccountingMinimum of 5 years of managerial experience in a similar capacityPlease note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
