Overview
A butchery retail store is seeking for a Financial Manager to join their team.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12/Matric
Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting
+5 years of financial experience in an accounting environment
+3 years of financial management experience

Job Responsibilities

Prepare full accounting reports
Oversee day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
Provide monthly expense and cost analysis for management review.
Reconciliation of purchases invoices and statements.
Provide daily sales figures for management review
Prepare, monitor, and control budget analysis and forecasting.
Complete year-end financial statements and work with auditors during the annual audit.
Maintain fixed asset register
Manage banking activities, reconcile cash books, and process bank transactions.
Handle VAT reconciliation, including completion of returns and e-filing submissions.
Manage monthly payroll and related administrative tasks.
Handle PAYE, SDL, UIF returns, and process IRP5 and IRP3 returns yearly.
Ensuring finance policies and procedures are complied with & input to maintain and update finance policies
Identifying financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, including managing insurance, credit, and market risks.
