Job Description
To partner with the business in providing finance services, insights, tactical strategy and associated delivery plans to support operational implementation and enable the business to achieve its financial objectives.

Are you someone who can:

Provide advice and guidance on the content of business performance reports and the causes of variances.
Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments and industry best practices, providing proactive advice and solutions to stakeholders.
Monitor and coach behaviors that ensure a service culture which builds rewarding relationships and exceptional client service.
Benchmark business performance internally and externally; deliver management information to allow decision-making that pushes performance boundaries.
Translate business strategy into financial targets and tactical plans, and support execution.
Analyze, plan and manage costs to support implementation of business strategies.
Define and implement internal and external financial reporting processes according to professional standards.
Apply and monitor governance to ensure alignment with technical committee and costing guidance.
Establish effective planning and forecasting processes across business units.
Design and implement a control framework to ensure the integrity of operations and financial practices.
Manage and monitor risk to ensure compliance with audit guidelines.
Manage end-to-end finance projects from strategy to implementation.
Manage the preparation and assessment of tax returns and provide advice on complex tax issues.
Actively coach team members to improve business performance.
Plan and manage performance, skills development, and culture of the team.
Cultivate technical working relationships with colleagues and finance professionals.
Continuously assess own performance and seek feedback for improvement.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

Hold a Business Banking Degree - BCom Hons or other relevant honors degree (preferred CA and/or CIMA).
Have 5 - 8 years of Financial Management experience post qualification, with 2 - 3 years ideally at management level.
Have experience in managing people.
