We are seeking a meticulous and proactive NGO Financial Manager to oversee all financial aspects of our organisation.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Financial Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.
Key Responsibilities: ? Prepare and submit returns in respect of P.A.Y.E., U.I.F., RSC Levies, Skills Levies & VAT.
? Prepare company provisional and annual returns.
? Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, and communicate them to various departments.
? Prepare and issue IRP5's and IRP3's.
? Scrutinise lease agreements and contracts for office equipment.
? Prepare annual financial statements and manage the audit process.
? Assess internal audit reports and ensure implementation of recommendations.
? Maintain the fixed asset register and oversee company assets.
? Manage cash flow, including monthly financial statement evaluation and cash flow projections.
? Provide regular financial reports and information to management.
? Participate in strategic financial planning and budgeting processes.
? Administer statutory company activities and maintain compliance.
? Prepare documentation for meetings and keep accurate records of company proceedings.
Requirements: ? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA qualification preferred.
? Proven experience as a Financial Manager or similar role within the NGO sector.
? Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
? Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
? Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
