Key Responsibilities: Financial Feasibilities & Analysis: Analyze project financial feasibilities and profit returns Calculate project interest rolls Map out project funding split, raise targets & pre-sale targets Analyze project IRRs and net profit returns Analyze project costing efficiencies Operational:
Manage cash flow including daily updates, budget vs actual tracking, and driving key cash flow items Forecast cash flow for projects and the group Reconcile project bank draws and submit reconciliations Review VAT facility reconciliations & VAT submissions Forecast and track revenue Budget and track overheads Manage tax-related matters when applicable Assist in new entity set-up from a SARS, Accounting package, and CIPC perspective Implement and review legal agreements Book shareholder meetings Compile meeting agendas and minutes Accounting:
Oversee audit oversight and management Ensure complete and accurate trial balances Implement accounting system changes and improvements Focus on efficiencies in accounting processes Develop and implement smart & live reporting Reconcile sales system and accounting system Reconcile 3rd party platform reports and provide sales splits Review payroll Post sales, interest, and transfer journals Reporting & Pack Creation: Prepare leadership, management, shareholders, and project reports Create bank funding packs Reconcile project reports between departments Provide viability updates Other:
Provide support where applicable to the Finance Director and Financial Manager Perform general ad hoc duties as required by the company Requirements: 5 years experience in a similar role Degree in Finance or Accounting non-negotiable Experience with Xero and Syft accounting software non-negotiable CA (SA) or CIMA qualification preferred Construction related experience non-negotiable Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Highly-organized individual responsible for managing tasks independently Hard-worker, efficient, deadline-focused, with high attention to detail and strong ability to self-review work Extensive experience in compiling reporting packs Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, Office) Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, complex if formulas) Join this dynamic team and be part of a group that sees urban development differently, where excellence is the standard, and innovation is embraced.
