Our client is looking for a Financial Manager to join them in them in their company.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To provide financial support to the management team for Logistics in effectively managing the division's finances in analyzing trends, collaborating closely with the depots and finance department, and compiling comprehensive reports.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Weekly National Financial forecastDaily Volumes trend reportingExecutive reporting on P&L extracts concerning critical line itemsReport on actual revenue vs budget Revenue per cubeConfirm Special billing done Branch Manager Financial scorecard completionIndependent overview - Branch VisitsSalary split monthly verification & Variable cost trend Analysis - Internal and ExternalDo reversal analysis report from bottom line deducting and indicating all out of the norm expenses that contributed to the negative result.Question depots on exceptions and poor performing line items and report back to HOD'sRepairs & Maintenance (MHE Units)Hub FuelLoss of LoadArmed Escorts vs External RecoveryHub Fines (Overloading)HUB cost per cube per depotOps Cost Per day and per month.General Repairs (Overheads)Any other shoot out expensesOther Recovery AnalysisInternal Revenue AnalysisInternal Freight Charges AnalysisCost per cube and kg analysis ex each depot to any depot (productivity booster)HUB Ops Productivity reporting connected to a cost along with trendsVehicle R&M + CPK analysisAccident cost + CPK analysisTPT Traffic Fines analysis (Speeding & Other)Fuel cost + fuel saving analysis in conjunction with improved fuel consumptions considering the fuel price adjustments.Loss of LoadLocal SubcontractorsSub hire internal (VTR)Transport cost per cube per depotOps Cost Per day and per month.Cost & trend analysis per measurable itemGeneral Repairs (Overheads)Transport Ops Productivity reporting and shootout identification (km per drop, cubes per drop, total km travelled, stops per vehicle)Report on any other shoot out expensesMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: MatricB Com AccountingCompleted articles and or 3 years relevant working experienceSKILLS REQUIRED: Able to develop new administrative procedures for own department/divisionAble to manage and control the correct implementation and utilization of administration in own department/divisionPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Self-motivatedSense of urgencyTeam leaderPays attention to detail.HonestReliableShould you not receive any response within 2 weeks from us kindly accept your application to be unsuccessful.
