Financial Manager

My client in the marketing solutions and tech space is seeking a Finance Manager to support their global financial operations across US and South African divisions. You will oversee financial management, budgeting, reporting, analysis, and forecasting, as well as ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The successful individual will be a strategic thinker who can balance tactical tasks with long-term planning, driving the growth of the finance function while managing day-to-day operations. Someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and willing to do tasks outside of their job scope, would be the perfect fit.Responsibilities:Monitor and manage the day-to-day finance operations in the business including invoicing, payroll payment and other financial transactions.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Be the custodian of the financial information - create processes and systems.Prepare company performance reports for the quarterly board meeting and monthly update meetings with the MD and CEO.Review key agreements from a commercial perspective to ensure risks are identified and mitigated.Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
