Salary NegotiableLocation: Cape Town, Western CapeOur client, a long-standing group of attorneys, has an opening for a high-performing Financial Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial administration within the group.Role Requirements:A solid background (minimum 5 years exp.) working as a Financial Manager within a professional service industry, preferably legal, as prospective candidates must possess a working knowledge of Trust Accounting.Duties include but are not limited to:Maintaining internal controlsPreparation of Annual Financial StatementsPreparation of Audit packsDrafting of monthly Management Accounts for DirectorshipManage and motivate a team of fiveLiaise and report to DirectorshipEnsuring corporate governance, regulatory compliance – Legal Practice Council reports and correspondenceProviding and maintaining relevant records/documents required for BEE audit, etc.Candidate Requirements:BCom Hons Accounting degree5 years' experience in a professional service industry firm (preferably legal)Attention to detailBilingualism (English/Afrikaans)/Excellent communication skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsTeam playerEfficient, Deadline drivenThe ability to thrive in a multi-tasking environmentRemuneration package commensurate with experience.NOTE: Should you not receive an answer within 7 days of the date of submission of application, please consider your application unsuccessful.
