Financial Manager

Job title: Financial ManagerOur client, based in Cape Town Century City, is looking for an Financial Manager to join their team as soon as possible. Reports to: CEOCollaborates with: General Manager & Order Fulfilment TeamRole Overview:Support the Company in achieving its objectives by delivering accurate, reliable, and timely financial reports. Work with a high-performing team across multiple brands.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Management:Prepare financial statements (income, balance sheets, cash flow).Process monthly cost of sales, reconcile stock levels, and analyze financial data.Compile commission reports, profit shares, royalty declarations, and manage foreign payments.Track sales and sponsorship profitability.Budgeting & Forecasting:Coordinate annual budgets and monthly forecasts.Provide variance analysis, develop financial models, and support business growth.Cash Flow Management:Ensure the company meets financial obligations and optimize cash flow.Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure financial compliance, oversee internal controls, and manage system integrations.Financial Operations:Supervise accounting staff, manage financial operations, and implement policies.Strategic Planning:Support the financial strategy and participate in strategic planning sessions.Audit & Tax:Coordinate external audits, manage tax compliance, and compile B-BBEE audit information.Required Skills & Experience:Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (SAIPA, SAIBA, or CIMA preferred).2+ years in financial management.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in Google G-Suite, Microsoft Excel, Dext, and Xero is preferred. Type: Full time permanent position.Salary offered: Depending on experience, R30 000-R45 000 CTC per month.Location: Cape Town, Century City based offices Please apply online and if you have not been contacted by ARVO recruiters within 4 weeks of applying, please consider your application unsuccessful.
