A large 4* hotel in Cape Town is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to oversee the hotel's financial operations. Candidates must have recent experience in a similar role within a 4/5* hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Manage cash flow, financial analysis, and ensure accurate and timely submission of financial statements.
Monitor and control costs to ensure financial efficiency while maximising profitability.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
Liaise with department heads to review financial performance and provide guidance on budget management.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and procurement processes.
Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of financial records and maintain internal controls.
Work closely with senior management to drive financial strategies and business growth.
Requirements:
Recent experience as a Financial Manager in a 4/5* hotel environment.
A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and hotel accounting procedures.
Proven track record of managing financial operations, including budgeting and cost control.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial management software and accounting systems.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
