Financial Manager

Our client a well-known Wine Estate in the Durbanville wine region, seeks to appoint a skilled Financial Manager.
This output required for this role is the perfect match between finance, HR and Operations, and will support the GM in key decision-making.
The idea candidate in meticulous in his/her approach and act as a leader who can deliver and take full ownership of the Financial Management of the Business, whilst assisting with the operational tasks as needed.
The Financial Manager will have full responsibility for the financial function of the business ranging from the Farm, Cellar, Tasting Room, National and International Wine Sales, Hospitality Division with a 350-seater multi-purpose venue, Guest Cottages and a Restaurant chain tenant.

Strategic and Business Financial PlanningFinancial Management and ReportingCash Flow ManagementStatutory Returns and ComplianceHR & PayrollProject CostingsFinancial Risk ManagementEnsure the availability, use, maintenance and development of internal accounting procedures and best practicesAssist the GM with operational decision-making ranging from various projects, departments and stakeholdersAssist with cross-functional Corporate Services responsibilities with another departmentAll other managerial and administrative functions related to the position.Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
A relevant tertiary qualification (Degree in Accounting/Financial Management with completed articles)10 years post tertiary experience in a similar roleExcellent computer proficiency (MS Office, Evolution, Ezywine).
