Financial Manager

An exciting part-time/half day opportunity is available for a qualified CA(SA) in Westlake, Cape Town, for a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager.
You will be working with both organizations and individuals, managing accounting, finance, and contracting functions for a small-to-medium-sized organization.
You will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks while solving problems and taking initiative.

Responsibilities: Manage the accounting and finance functionsReconcile daily, monthly, and yearly transactionsReview and reconcile creditors' accounts and debtors' accountsManage the full payroll functionManage and prepare weekly and ad-hoc payments to suppliersManage invoicing of customers and issuing of credit notesProduce accurate monthly financial reportsAnalyze and interpret financial informationManage the external auditAssist with budget preparation and cost managementManage cash flowAssist with the preparation of organizational taxesManage the fixed asset lifecycle and related accounting entriesMonitor business trends and product availabilitySupport procurement in building relationships with suppliers contracting and operationsDraft, review, send and file various contractsEnsure assets are appropriately insured and manage the insurance processRequirements: CA(SA) or Professional Accountant SA qualificationBCom Accounting degree or related financial qualificationStrong knowledge of IFRS, accounting principles and practicesExperience and proficient in MS Office and MS Excel, accounting software and various technology applicationsExperience in the non-profit sector (advantageous)EE candidate requiredPlease note if you have not heard from us in 2 weeks from application, please consider yourself unsuccessful - please do continue to follow us online and apply for suitable roles.
