Financial Manager

I have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Manager, to join a leading Financial Services company based in Cape Town. The successful person will be responsible for the full financial function, managing financial and business risk, working closely with the CFO, other financial managers and heads of department. The ideal candidate will be a qualified CA(SA) with 1+ years experience within the financial services industry.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the full financial function
Monthly review of financial reports and key controls within the control environment
Preparation of tax returns and responsible for ongoing related tax matters
Preparation of all funds for audit within the required deadlines
Liaising and working closely with external auditors to ensure all reporting deadlines are met
Preparation of annual financial statements within required timeframe to meet regulatory submission deadlines
Completion and submission of any other relevant regulatory reporting
Assist with audit pack completion
Managing financial and business risk
