General Description of PositionThis position is responsible for the financial management of the business and is accountable for the overallfinancial business processes, procedures, and systems that include the day-to-day administration of alltransactional data, the monthly provision of management reports, the weekly/monthly/annual preparation ofinformation to meet the requirements of shareholders, clients, suppliers, SARS, B-BBEE and other legislativeintuitions where the presentation of financial information is required.The responsibilities of this position also include, inter alia:? The process and management of the day-to-day financial operations, such as payroll, invoicing, andother transactions? Overseeing financial department employees? Contracting outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, etc.? Tracking the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement? Provide information and expectations to the business to aid decision-making and strategy development? Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients? Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes? Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company? Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislationWork Experience Requirements? 5+ Years' Accounting/ Financial Management experience in a similar environment, of which at least 2-3 years in a Team Leadership / Management Role.? In-depth knowledge of Financial Management and taxation guidelines? Ability to build relationships while asking tough questions? Excellent written and oral communication ability, English and Afrikaans? Strong time management and organizational skills? Demonstrated ability with Power BIs, Smartform / Sharepoint? Proven ability with BuildSmart? Advanced computer literacy Microsoft Outlook (PowerPoint / Excel / Word / Email)? Prior experience in a Financial Manager Role in Construction or similar? Experience in working with a diverse range of people and positions Education RequirementsB Degree NQF 8 specializing in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration? Formal Course in Pastel / Payroll or similar? Formal Training in BuildSmart
