Financial Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:Accounting of the business and trust accounts (assisted by a junior), up to Trial BalanceCompleting the month end process and preparing the monthly management reportsPreparing Board meeting agenda, taking minutesUpdating of Long term cashflow reports through liaising with department heads on expected fees in pipelineMonthly salary journals, Intercompany Journals and InvoicingPerforming fees transfers on the system to take fees from Trust to Business as required (weekly)Assisting directors with posting WIP as per timesheets to AJS and finalising invoices, as well as managing debtors and following up on paymentsReviewing the creditors processingCompiling the information pack for the directors personal tax(which is done by the auditors)Preparation of salaries on Sage VIP Cloud PayrollStatutory complianceBasic HR such as leave recording, preparing letters of appointment and contracts of employmentSubmission of WSP/ATR Report annually (assisted by consultant)Creation of the invoices on AJS for Conveyancing fees (Transfers, Bonds and BCS)Preparation of audit files for the Statutory Audit of Financial statements, the Attorney Trust audit and the BEE audit annually Liaising with auditors to assist them with the documentation as requiredREQUIREMENTS:Tertiary Accounting Diploma/Degree (B.Com or B.Acc)SAIPA, SAICA or CIMA articles or3 years experience as a financial accountantLegal firm experience would be beneficial TO APPLY:If you would like to apply or receive more information about this position, please:
