Financial Manager

I have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Manager, to join a leading Financial Services company based in Cape Town. The successful person will be responsible for the full financial function, managing financial and business risk, working closely with the CFO, other financial managers and heads of department. The ideal candidate will be a qualified CA(SA) with 2+ years experience within the financial services industry.
Responsibilities: Responsible for the full financial functionMonthly review of financial reports and key controls within the control environmentPreparation of tax returns and responsible for ongoing related tax mattersPreparation of all funds for audit within the required deadlinesLiaising and working closely with external auditors to ensure all reporting deadlines are metPreparation of annual financial statements within required timeframe to meet regulatory submission deadlinesCompletion and submission of any other relevant regulatory reportingAssist with audit pack completionManaging financial and business riskRequirements: Qualified CA(SA)Minimum of 2 years' experience within the financial services industryGood decision-making skills Please note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
