Financial Manager Plumstead Cape Town Our wholesale client in Plumstead Cape Town is looking for a Financial Manager with 7-8 years' experience overseeing the financial departments, payroll, and HR.

Financial Management experience of 7-8 years
Managing staff – Accountant, Bookkeeper, and clerks PASTEL Evolution
Payroll for 60-80 staff permanents and Wages – SAGE VIP Payroll
Full Statutory Return and Submissions – SARS Efiling
Management Accounts, budgeting and Manage Cash Flow
Reconcile and control of all accounts
Responsibilities Managing the Finance department to financial statements and reporting
Managing 5-7 staff in the Finance and HR Department
Full Payroll function and SARS Efiling – SAGE VIP Payroll and SARS efiling
Reconcile and Balance general ledger accounts and cash books monthly.
Report on Month-end finances
Manage Bank accounts
Balance Inter Company loan accounts monthly.
Process Weekly and Monthly payments on Nedbank Business Banking
Ensure that all customer accounts reconcile monthly and that all invoices and statements are sent out timeously and that all outstanding invoices are dealt with immediately.
Reconcile overseas supplier accounts and arrange payments.
Ensure that all suppliers accounts are reconciled monthly and that all queries are dealt with so that payments may be made on time.
Preparation of monthly management accounts and meeting monthly with the Director to discuss.
Prepare for and assist with annual audits.
Prepare and Submit all VAT returns Monthly.
Prepare and Submit all EMP returns Monthly.
Attend all annual IRP5 reconciliations and submissions to SARS.
Prepare and process salaries monthly, including the calculation of monthly commission payouts.
Calculate and pay all weekly wages.
Manage and oversee the Shipping Department – Shipping Costs
