RPO Recruitment's client is urgently seeking a Financial Manager in Heidelberg, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will be someone who is self-motivated, a problem solver, and takes ownership of their work. They will work closely with other department managers and provide financial guidance to ensure that financial targets are met throughout the year. The candidate will also be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of financial analysts.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, providing accurate and timely reporting to management.Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support business planning and decision-making processes.Import and export compliance.Strong Forex experience and maintain banking relationships.Monitor and manage cash flow, and banking relationships to optimize working capital and minimize financial risks.Ensure timely and accurate completion of all tax and statutory reporting requirements.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives, cost control measures, and profitability enhancement efforts.Review and investigate any discrepancies around costing.Operational variance analysis including labour, variable, fixed, and material cost variances.Assist operations to identify gaps and drive performance.Monthly P&L's and management reports.Maintenance of BOM's and costings.Review and recommend opportunities to reduce expenditure and optimize efficiencies to improve profits.Oversee the IT function of the company.RequirementsCA/CPA.Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.3+ years in costing.Syspro experience.In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and regulations.Proven experience as a Financial Manager or similar role within a manufacturing company.Benefits:Salary: R800K/yr - R850K/yr, salary negotiable.Health Care Plan.Retirement.Family Leave.Training & Development.If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or emailing your CV to Hire Resolve at ****** are also welcome to contact Chelsea Ward on LinkedIn or call her on 021 180 0776.Please note that correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates for this position.
