Requirements: CA (SA) Qualification Preferable will secure with professional experience (Please attach all qualifications) 5 years hands-on experience in a financial and management accounting preferably in a betting and gaming industry 2-4 years experience with financial regulations relevant to the gaming industry and the jurisdications where the group operates Strong knowledge of financial principles, preparation with monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and analyses Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills; the ability to clearly articulate ideas and build positive relationship both within finance and stakeholders Excellent analytical skills, ability to interpret financial data to support strategic decision-making Ability to make decisions and commit Proven team management skills Highly motivated and adaptable; the ability to motivate and lead a team as well as work with a widespread external team of service providers Ability to work in a diverse environment and under time pressure during crucial periods of the year Solid knowledge of international transactions knowledge and experience Proven problem-solving skills and customer mindset Deadline driven, accurate and detail oriented with sound judgement Serves as the Groups primary interface with the auditors and regulators Advanced Proficiency computer literacy on MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and company related software systems Accpac system experience is an advantage Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior Job Functions: FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY Prepare and analyse financial information for management accounts of the division, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data Establish and maintain robust financial controls across the division to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by the management team and the board of directors. This includes analysing financial performance, identifying trends, and highlighting areas of concern or improvement. Assist in the preparation of any additional financial reporting required Assist in the preparation of financial budgets and forecasts for the division, collaborating with different departments to gather relevant data and assumptions Continuously review and improve financial systems, processes and policies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations. Processing of information from financial management system and assisting with the integration of any new systems REPORTING Review of balance sheet reconciliations and journals and recommend adjusting entries where required. Monthly Management Accounts: Perform the consolidation of financial data from multiple departments within the division, ensuring accurate and consistent financial reporting, on a monthly basis. Prepare & interpret the monthly executive summary report for the division as part of the management REGULATORY Coordinate and manage the external audit process for the division. Working closely with auditors to facilitate the audit and address any accounting issues Collation of financial information required for Gambling board audits Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations relevant to the betting industry and the specific jurisdictions where the group operates CASH FLOW MANAGEMENT Monitor and manage cash flow for the division, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational requirements. STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIPS Collaborate with various stakeholders to address financial matters and ensure alignment with business goals Ensure support is given to the Executive and assist with adhoc responsibilities NB.
