Financial Manager (Contract)

Salary: 450 000 Location: JohannesburgDescription:Are you a seasoned Financial Manager with a passion for the manufacturing sector?My client is seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented professional to oversee and optimize the financial operations of our dynamic manufacturing company.This role is a 6 month contract and is based in Klipriver, Johannesburg South.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the full financial function, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies to achieve organizational objectives.Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial planning processes.Monitor and control cost management initiatives to drive efficiency and profitability.Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end and year-end processes.Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering growth and professional development.Liaise with internal and external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders.Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements, including VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax.Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.A minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management within the Manufacturing/Rentals industry.Strong understanding of financial and cost accounting principles.Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Proven leadership and team management experience.
