Position Overview: As the Financial Manager, you will take charge of all financial accounting responsibilities, ensuring the organizations financial integrity and compliance.
This role is integral to their operations, providing accurate financial insights and supporting their mission to deliver quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements in compliance with applicable standards.
Perform detailed trial balance reconciliations and ensure accounts are up-to-date.
Conduct income and expenditure analyses to support financial decision-making.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
Manage external audit processes, liaising with auditors to ensure readiness and compliance.
Implement and monitor robust financial controls and procedures tailored to the healthcare industry.
Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders.
Support regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Qualifications & Experience: Professional certification: CA(SA) is essential.
Proven experience in financial accounting, preferably within the healthcare sector or a regulated industry.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
Proficiency in financial systems such as Sage 300, MS Dynamics, or equivalent software.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
