Job Description: Prepare annual tax calculations for reviewSubmit corporate tax returns accurately and on timeReview financial systems to ensure compliance with SARS requirements and accurate accountingCommunicate with tax authorities and stay updated on taxation knowledgeReview and prepare financial reporting packs for African countries, including variance analysis and general ledger reconciliationsEnsure compliance with Group reporting requirements and local GAAP/IFRSDevelop additional reports and present monthly results at management meetingsMonitor stock and debtors, ensuring timely actions and provisionsPrepare business intelligence tools and assist with system optimizationImplement operational efficiency initiatives and prepare board packsEnsure accounting policies and procedures are in place and aligned with Group standardsAssist with annual statutory audit and internal audits, and release paymentsLiaise with third parties and provide support during critical periodsPrepare annual risk assessments and manage risks affecting the businessAssist with due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and manage related recordsAdhere to reporting deadlines, ensure accuracy, and maintain ongoing communication with operational teamsPerform additional tasks as required, including travel to Africa as needed Qualifications and Experience Required: CA(SA) accreditation is essential5 to 10 years commercial (post article) experienceProven managerial experience is essential5+ manufacturing experience is essential
