Financial Manager - 9938

You will form part of an existing financial team (1 direct report) and report to the General Manager. This position offers an opportunity to gain
valuable experience through leading a team, compiling relevant financial reports and conforming to tax regulations.

Your tasks
? Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
? Forecasting and budgeting at subsidiary level
? Managing month-end closure processes
? Overseeing the finance team's performance
? Capturing and reconciliation of intercompany transactions
? Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements (IT/VAT/PAYE)
? Administer the payroll function (SimplePay)
? Collaborating with other departments reliant on financial data
? Taking charge of general tasks within the finance department


Required profile
? Tertiary degree in accounting or finance
? Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
? Minimum 2 years related work experience
? Practical accounting experience including the preparation of financial statements
? Advanced computer skills (E.g. NetSuite, MS Office, Power BI)
? Any managerial experience will be beneficial
? Excellent English and Afrikaans communication skills
? Good planning and general management
? Dynamic, innovative and willing to go the extra mile
? Interest in agriculture and/or sustainability
