Are you an immediately available Financial Manager or Senior Accountant looking to step into a stimulating role where you will be involved in company budgets as well as year end in June 2025? My client is looking for a dedicated and experience professional to step into a Maternity cover for 12 months, where you will get involved in the analysis of the numbers, drill down into the details and investigate everything from cost of sales to revenue. Should you step into this position, you will be joining just before the company goes into budget time and will be involved in the Financial Year End. You will get a good handover when you start and will be required to give a good handover when the current FM returns
Your duties will mostly revolve around drilling down into the numbers and the details, ensuring that you investigate a review everything from Revenue to Cost of Sales, and that the numbers are correct
You will not have to get involved with the Tax, Statutory, or balance sheet recons but will be required to collaborate with the operations team
There will be 1 wonderful Accountant that you will be responsible for managing but also collaborate with ensuring their continuous development
We require someone that is not afraid to get hands-on and jump in to assist where necessary.
Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 5 years in a Financial Management background
Highly detail orientated
Open to getting involved and being hands-on in the team
Come from a background with high volumes
Ability to self-manage and manage your time effectively
Qualification:
Degree in Finance
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles will be beneficial
