Financial Manager (1 Year Renewable Contract)

Responsibilities: Supervise and manage project bookkeeping, cashbook processing and journals Prepare bank reconciliations and reviews Provide oversight and compliance on project debit cards, staff debtors and expense claims Provide financial management support to programme directors Review and release electronic payments and transfers Ensure completeness and accuracy of the fixed asset register Overall responsibility of the financial management / trial balance as allocated Ensure accurate accounting for VAT Responsible for the preparation and execution of all funds related audits Assist with preparation and execution of statutory audits Ensure adequate cash-flow management Ensure loan account and inter account transfers are done Ensure all monthly expense claims and financial reporting are prepared and submitted Ensure that all reports are reconciled to the underlying financial system Ensure high level plans are communicated and assigned to the team Engage in the performance review process
