Job Description Responsibilities:The Financial Director is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of a business.Supporting the CEO, Operational Directors and Board Members, the Financial Director will have primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities including the development of financial and operational strategies.The role of the Finanical Director will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, contracts analysis and client relations.As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Financial Director will report to the company CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company.The Financial Director will be appointed to the Board of Directors and subsequently report to various Board Committees i.e. Audit & Risk, Remuneration & Performance, etc.Role & Duties amongst others:The Financial Director will be expected to perform the following tasks:Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiativesMonitor and direct the compilation and execution of the business planDevelop financial and tax strategies and ensure complianceOversee and ensure the integrity all transactions and processing systemsImplement financial best practices in support of the businessWhere and if applicable supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitionsProvide strategic recommendations to enhance the financial performance of the businessEnsure effective internal controls are in place and compliance with applicable regulatory legislation for financial and tax reportingPerson Specification:Typical qualities of the successful applicant would include:CA reasonable equivalentEight to Ten years' experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles and looking for a new challenge
