Financial Controller - North Of Durban

DUR002148 – FINANCIAL CONTROLLER – DURBAN Job Purpose: Responsible for managing and maintaining all Accounting & Finance Operations to ensure Financial Accuracy in Analysis and Reporting thereof.
Required Qualifications: Grade 12 CA or SAIPA or CIMA or ACCA Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within a commercial environment    Must have: Manufacturing industry experience Experience in developing and implementing business intelligence or analytics solutions preferable Experience with data and financial analytics preferable Must have ERP systems, preferably Sage X3 or Sap experience Technical Competencies & Experience: Oversee billing, reconciliations, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, and revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Researching & resolving of complex accounting issues, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations (IFRS).
Managing working capital, prepare cash flow projections, and optimize cash flow to support operational needs.
Support costing and pricing exercises, providing accurate financial data to inform decision-making Design and document efficient business processes & accounting policies Maintaining & strengthening internal controls over financial transactions and reporting, mitigating risk and ensuring data integrity.
Leading of month-end and year-end close processes including assisting with the preparation of the annual financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Prepare monthly journals, assist with cost-saving initiatives, contribute to B-BBEE compliance efforts and other tasks as they may arise.
Prepare timely monthly management accounts with comprehensive analysis, highlighting key trends and variances.
Develop accurate budgets and forecasts, monitor performance, and provide insightful variance analysis.
Coordinate regulatory reporting, ensuring adherence to local government requirements and tax filings.
