Financial Controller - National

Job & Company Description:Responsibility for planning, implementation and managing of finance activities of group.Duties include, but are not limited to:Process journalsPrepare payment packsMaintain cashbookManagement and training of finance staffPrepare reconciliations and inter-company transactionsRespond to accounting queriesPrepare cash flow forecast / payment summariesVAT reconciliations and submissionsConsolidate finance informationAttend to stock countsMonthly management reportsPrepare financial reports and annual budgetsMonitor performance against budgets and forecastsLiaise with operations business units and involvement in the financial side of operationsAnalyse and identify opportunities for cost reduction and systems enhancementEstablish finance and operational strategiesProject accountingEducation:BCom degree in Finance or Accounting essentialHonours degree preferredJob Experience & Skills Required:Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles3 to 5 years post articles experience in a full function finance role essential3+ years managerial experience essentialUnderstanding of a product / stock environment essentialExperience with cost control and financial analysis essentialUnderstanding of BI Tools essentialStrong analytical skillsStrong organizational skillsStrong presentation and communication skillsStrong business partnering and reporting skillsBusiness and financial acumenMeticulous attention to detailAPPLY NOW!
