Reporting to: Group Financial Manager
Location: Plattekloof, Cape Town Key Areas of Responsibility:Overseeing, preparing and reviewing monthly management accountsAssistance with cash flow forecasting systems and treasury managementAssistance with quarterly, interim and year-end reporting processes for the GroupAssistance with the budgeting processesPreparation of weekly and monthly flash reports and commentaryPrepare and assist with internal reporting documentsPrepare and assist with quarterly reporting for internal business unit board meetingsPreparation of monthly consolidated group reportsManagement of the weekly approval processManagement and monitor the Group CAPEX processAnalysing and reviewing financial data, detail investigations and identifying areas for investigationLiaise with banks, tax authorities, auditors, and other relevant external partiesManagement and upkeep of the BI platformManagement of the SARS notifications in the GroupAd-hoc assistance to the finance team, as required.Qualifications:Newly qualified CIMA or similar qualificationExperience & Skills:1-3 years of experienceInterest/knowledge in Prophix, Lease Tracker and Qlik applications will be advantageousAble to support multiple work streams in the month-end close processPersonal Profile: Proven Knowledge, Skills and Attitude:Good knowledge of manufacturing (preferably food/beverage industry)Deadline driven, and results orientatedSolid analytical and reporting abilitiesPresentation and computer skills (MS Office / ERP System)Must be able to work well in a team and build collaborative relationships within the GroupExcellent numerical and analytical skillsSelf-motivatedSeeks out opportunities to learn and develop.Takes initiativeGood work ethicTrustworthyAble to handle work pressureMust be able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Drive continuous improvement in areas of responsibilityDriver's license and own transportApplication:Please e-mail your CV to Emma Lamont at ****** with a motivation highlighting why you should be considered for the position.
