Our approach revolves around thoughtfully designed products, fostering community, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.Key Responsibilities:Financial Feasibilities & Analysis:Analyze project financial feasibilities and profit returnsCalculate project interest rollsMap out project funding split, raise targets & pre-sale targetsAnalyze project IRRs and net profit returnsAnalyze project costing efficienciesOperational:Manage cash flow including daily updates, budget vs actual tracking, and driving key cash flow itemsForecast cash flow for projects and the groupReconcile project bank draws and submit reconciliationsReview VAT facility reconciliations & VAT submissionsForecast and track revenueBudget and track overheadsManage tax-related matters when applicableAssist in new entity set-up from a SARS, Accounting package, and CIPC perspectiveImplement and review legal agreementsBook shareholder meetingsCompile meeting agendas and minutesAccounting:Oversee audit oversight and managementEnsure complete and accurate trial balancesImplement accounting system changes and improvementsFocus on efficiencies in accounting processesDevelop and implement smart & live reportingReconcile sales system and accounting systemReconcile 3rd party platform reports and provide sales splitsReview payrollPost sales, interest, and transfer journalsReporting & Pack Creation:Prepare leadership, management, shareholders, and project reportsCreate bank funding packsReconcile project reports between departmentsProvide viability updatesOther:Provide support where applicable to the Finance Director and Financial ManagerPerform general ad hoc duties as required by the companyRequirements:5 years experience in a similar roleDegree in Finance or Accounting non-negotiableExperience with Xero and Syft accounting software non-negotiableCA (SA) or CIMA qualification preferredConstruction related experience non-negotiableAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentHighly-organized individual responsible for managing tasks independentlyHard-worker, efficient, deadline-focused, with high attention to detail and strong ability to self-review workExtensive experience in compiling reporting packsExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a teamProficient in Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, Office)Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, complex if formulas)Join this dynamic team and be part of a group that sees urban development differently, where excellence is the standard, and innovation is embraced.
