Our client is looking for a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their dynamic team in the environmental services industry.Responsibilities:Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, cost control, and financial reporting.Manage budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.Conduct monthly closing procedures, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.Implement and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures.Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial performance and provide strategic insights.Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project costing and financial oversight.Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.Continuously evaluate financial processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.Key Skills:Proficiency in relevant accounting and cost control software packages.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.Solid understanding of budget management and financial forecasting.Familiarity with project accounting principles and practices.High level of integrity and professional ethics.Demonstrated experience with budget management and monthly closing procedures.Strong proficiency in using accounting software and financial management tools.Qualifications:Degree or Diploma/B. Tech in Cost Accounting or Management Accounting is essential.A minimum of five years of relevant experience, preferably within a project accounting environment.Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage but not required.
