Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:Lead the preparation of financial reports, including monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to drive business performance.Oversee cost accounting, inventory management, and production-related financial controls.Conduct variance analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal policies.Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk effectively.Collaborate with operations teams to align financial practices with production activities.Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.Liaise with auditors, banks, and other stakeholders as required.Qualifications and Skills:CA (SA) or CIMA qualification preferred.Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a financial management role within the manufacturing sector.Strong knowledge of cost accounting, production finance, and inventory management.Proficiency in financial systems and tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.Advanced skills in MS Excel and data analysis.Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization.
