Financial Controller

Our client is currently looking for a Financial Controller (Hospitality) to join their team in Sandton. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running for the hotel, managing HODs and handling any internal issues that arise. Some Duties include:Providing financial guidance in the formulation and implementation of the business plan and departmental budgetsMaximizing cash flow performance of the businessEnforcing & establishing adequate controls for all revenues and protection of assets to improve the level of serviceMonthly bank reconcilliation statementsExamines daily costing reports.Examines and approves all payroll hiring, status changes and terminations.Ensures that all keys control and issuance procedures are correctly applied and adhered to.Recommends to the area office improvements in accounting and internal control.Attends and contributes to all training sessions Requirements:Minimum Undergraduate degree in Finance/ Accounting (completed)Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in the above duties (advantageous)Hospitality/ Hotel industry experienceIScala exposureExcellent communication skillsStrong leadership skills
