A Well-known entity within the hospitality industry is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team ASAP
Qualifications: BCom in Accounting DegreeCompleted Articles would be a huge advantageMust have at least 5 (five) years' experience within similar position in 4 / 5* hotelsMust be advanced/administrative in Pastel, Fidelio/Opera programsComputer Literate/advanced in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) Job description: Full accounting function of the hotelEnsure strict deadlines are met to produce monthly management accountsFinancial reviews with Heads of departmentsAnnual budgetsRisk managementForeign exchange, Working capital dealings, maximizing cash flows and cash managementLiaison with external auditors and preparation of annual financial statementsImplement and monitor Internal controls, corporate governance and IFRS requirementsStaff management and developmentGood understanding of the businessRevenue integration from one system to anotherStrong experience with month end proceduresManagement accounts management – quarterly board packsDeadline oriented is a non-negotiable And, if you possess the relevant qualifications, meet the minimum requirements and/or fit the job description for this finance vacancy, and are ready to take control of your next career move, please contact me today!
