Financial Controller

A leading JSE-listed manufacturer with extremely well-known and premier food brands is looking for a hands-on Financial Controller. The position is based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town and ideally calls for a young, newly qualified PA(SA), AGA(SA), or part CGMA who is looking to make that step into a commercial environment.
This role opens up varied possibilities within the group, in the future.
Key Responsibilities:Oversight of accounting transactions, and reconciliations.Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packs.Forecasting and budgeting.Drive and streamline internal controls and processes.Assist with audit preparation and AFS preparation.SARS compliance (VAT; PAYE; Income Tax).Qualifications and Experience:Newly qualified PA(SA); AGA(SA) or Part CGMA.0 to 2 years post-article experience (articles highly preferred).Strong communicator; reasonably extroverted; team player.Strong initiative, and happy to deal with varied tasks as they arise.Salary:R35k - R45k / month CTC
