Financial Controller

Key responsibilities:Manage a dedicated team of three who are responsible for day-to-day financial processes, including cash book entries, payments, creditors, and debtorsConduct journal entries, VAT and general ledger/payroll system reconciliationsPrepare management accounts, analyse financial data, and present findings to the directorsReview and approve paymentsManage the insurance and vehicle licensing portfolioEnsure compliance with CIPC and other statutory submissionsPrepare Annual Financial Statements (AFS) and lead the annual audit processWhat we are looking for:10+ years of relevant accounting experienceHigh proficiency in computer literacy, especially in ExcelKnowledge of Sage Evolution is highly advantageousCommitment to core values such as honesty and loyaltyStrong sense of ownership and accountability for your workComfortable representing Financial Director in their absence / when travelingWhy join our client?
