We are on the search for a Financial Controller to assist in managing both the day-to-day operations of the team and ensure that our growing and ever-changing company is well supported in its financial processes.
Who you are: Besides having the necessary diligence and experience for the role, we are looking for a teammate who has high attention to detail and has had a good day when their 'to-do list" is cleared! You should find satisfaction in having your work processes organised. This role is for someone who thrives when given the autonomy to succeed and can work independently when needed. You should be precise and clear about what needs to be achieved on any given day but also have the flexibility to shift when an unexpected hurdle comes our way, delivering the solution calmly and confidently.
What you could be responsible for: Regular reconciliations of multiple bank accounts Liaising with suppliers around reconciliations, claims and credits Completing detailed refund processes Invoice and payment data capturing Resolving internal administrative queries Month end accounting journals General administrative tasks Who we are looking for: Have you completed a Degree or Degree/Higher National Diploma? Do you have an interest in e-Commerce and particularly Finance? Have you worked in a Finance team that is nimble and enjoy taking on a varied of tasks? We are looking for someone who has 2 - 5 years of experience. Do you enjoy solving problems and are numerically minded? Can you work to tight deadlines whilst still maintaining a high level of accuracy? Do you have strong written and verbal communication skills? Do you own a car and have your driver's license? Do you feel comfortable running weekly errands outside of the office?
