Financial Controller, D4 Seriti, Middelburg Mine Services, Mpumalanga Internal & External Ref no: SAM_MMS106/24GS Closing date: 24 January 2025 The role: The purpose of this role is to coordinate, manage and execute financial accounting and reporting processes including period end closes, statistical and statutory reporting, transactional accounting, internal and external audit, and preparation of Annual Financial Statement.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Accountability for the execution of Business level financial reporting processes Facilitating the development of budgets and managing the monthly forecasts Knowledge of management systems like SAP, SharePoint, PowerBI, HSEC Online and Isometrix Oversees the creation, interpretation and implementation of financial accounting policies Manages the preparation and submission of Annual Financial Statements in compliance with applicable financial reporting standards Monitors compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Accounting Interpretations Accountable for the overall trial balance, including review of reconciliations Manages transactional accounting and processing activities, including cash, payroll, fixed assets, debtors, creditors and revenue accounting Coordinates the period end close process and short-term cash forecasting Responsible for the governance and integration of all financial systems (ERP, Treasury, Marketing, Forecasting, etc.)
Half year and Year end statutory reporting including external briefing paper submissions and governance reviews Responsible for internal and external financial reporting requirements including RAC, Board, JV and Third-Party reporting Responsible for general statistical and statutory reporting requirements e.g.
