Financial Controller CA(SA) Kempton Park Reports to: Financial Manager Department: Finance Department Role Purpose The Financial Controller will be responsible for the financial reporting system and will also be responsible for assisting the operational managers with their reporting needs.

Advanced excel skills is non-negotiable.
5 Years of Financial Controlling experience The following experience would be highly advantageous: Construction / Tendering environment experience Experience in working with Sage Accpac and Pastel Partner Experience in working in a multinational organization, dealing in multiple currencies, with a Turnover more than R1bn per annum.
Experience in dealing with Bonds and Guarantees in a tendering environment.
Knowledge and experience in working with a payroll package would be beneficial.
Experience in reconciling loan accounts in different reporting currencies African experience would be highly advantageous.
Experience in processing of Debtors and Creditors and the reconciliation process Key Accountabilities : Manage the financial reporting process | Maintain the financial reporting pack.
Review payment runs | Ensure that all internal and external reporting deadlines are met.
Work with the Accountant in the project costing process Manage the daily cash flow transfers.
Maintain the costings and administration on the recurring and significant expenses (Fleet, cellphones, insurance, guarantees) Assist with Ad hoc requests relating to compliance and statutory.
Assist the Financial Manager in the review of financial matters.
Assist in reviewing and updating internal financial systems.
Maintenance of all financial reports | Monthly reporting to the holding company Daily cash flow management Analytical review of financial reports Help to create an environment where the team are happy and motivated to work.
Following up and correcting errors along with the accountant Continuously improving internal control procedures Continuously monitoring the risk assessment with the CFO Review of the monthly and annual accounting packs 3.
