Prepares financial reports, forecasts and budgets for the executive to support the financial decision-making process. Liaises with banks and Group in terms of treasury requirements.GeneralManagement and monitoring of staff in the departmentBudget preparation and monitoring – Working capitalAutomation/system projectsPolicy reviewsProcess reviewsConsolidation of information reviews within departmentAdhoc requestsLiaising with various stakeholdersMonth end, quarter end, bi-annual and annual reportingIFRS technical mattersAssist when required in developing financial management systems that minimize financial risks within the company.Liaise with external and internal auditors in area of responsibility.Be involved in the strategic planning of key strategic projects.Cash Management & Treasury FunctionCashflow forecastingBanking amendments and approvalsCash analysis – loan requirements, excess cash etcForex transactionsOversight of Banking administrationRepatriation of funds from African countriesForex transactions into the ledgersMonitor compliance (standards, acts and regulations, policies, processes, and systems)Oversee working capital at Head Office and Group levelAccounts ReceivableManagement of debtors bookQuery resolutionIntercompanyResolution of intercompany queriesReview of group schedule reconciliationAccounts PayableManagement of supplier bookQuery resolutionDesired Experience & QualificationYears of experience: Up to 10 years
