Job Purpose The Financial Consultant: Fund & Bank Reconciliations will be responsible for the reconciliations between instructions executed by Glacier and respective management companies.
Key Outcomes Reconciliation of client instructions and execution thereof by Management CompaniesReconciliation on automated reconciliation systemSAP reconciliation of provider payment control account and bank accountResolution of un-reconciled transactionsLiaise with Management Companies regarding Rand and unit discrepancies.Ensure resolution of un-reconciled transactions on automated system and un-reconciled transactions on SAPManagement of control accounts on SAPReportingInternal reporting within Finance regarding reconciliations and control accountsBank Reconciliations and control accountsCollaborate with the business, regarding resolution of un-reconciled transactionsAd-hoc tasksQualifications and Experience A finance related degree/diploma; preferably with more than 2 years' experience within Linked Investment Services Provider (LISP) or in a similar role.Knowledge of Financial Reconciliation processes.MS Excel Intermediate Level and SAP experience essential.Client focusCultivates innovationDrive resultsInnovative ThinkingProblem-solving and analytical skillsConcern for order and accuracyAbility to function independentlyCommunication SkillsAttributes Positive, enthusiastic attitudeTeamworkAbility to work under pressureHonesty, integrity and respectSelf-starter and self confidenceWhat will make you successful in this role?Grade 12 with 3 to 5 years related experience.
