Job Title: Financial Bookkeeper – Remote
Location: Fully Remote
Work Hours: 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Salary: R12,000 per month
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Expert to manage our franchise-related financial tasks, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of royalties. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling franchise agreements, collections, and payment processing, as well as general accounting duties. This remote position requires strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Franchise Agreements & Collections: Manage financial aspects of franchise agreements, ensuring compliance with terms related to collections. Handle invoicing for franchise fees, royalties, and other financial obligations. Oversee collection processes, ensuring timely payments and following up on outstanding balances. Draft and review financial addendums related to franchise agreements. Invoicing & Payment Processing: Prepare and issue invoices for franchise-related transactions, including fees and royalties. Process payments and ensure they are correctly applied to respective accounts. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable for franchise operations. Reconciliation of Royalties: Perform regular reconciliation of royalty payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Track franchisee royalty contributions and identify any discrepancies. Provide monthly reports on royalty collections and payments. General Accounting Duties: Maintain accurate financial records and update financial systems regularly. Reconcile accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring financial accuracy. Support with budget forecasting and financial planning as it relates to franchise operations. Assist in preparing financial statements and reports. Franchise Financial Management: Ensure all financial processes are in compliance with franchise industry standards. Provide financial insights to assist in managing and optimizing the franchise business. Work with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations related to franchising. Qualifications:
Degree or similar Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience in managing financial aspects of franchise operations (preferred but not mandatory). Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, and payment reconciliation. Experience with accounting software and financial reporting tools. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work remotely and independently during the specified hours. 5 years minimum work experience in the field. Preferred Experience:
