The primary responsibility is the efficient management of client and cardholder projects, with the overarching objective of augmenting Visa's revenue growth. This role serves as a strategic business partner, providing insightful contributions and added value to facilitate the country teams in achieving their targets. In addition to these strategic contributions, the role extends support to the country teams in coordinating corporate events, executing marketing or product campaigns, managing the procurement of goods and services from third-party suppliers, and overseeing gifts and donations, all within the confines of established policies and procedures.Principal Responsibilities/Key Results AreaAcquire proficiency in internal policies and procedures to serve as a knowledgeable resource for business functions.Lead, manage and facilitate the implementation of process improvements and enhancements.Oversee the team's pipeline tracker, including providing updates, regularly monitoring team member workloads, and facilitating the implementation of process enhancements.Conduct reviews of high-risk and high-value projects undertaken by other operations team members to identify potential issues and prevent their recurrence.Administer monitoring and governance processes, including but not limited to Control Committee Meetings and Pre-closure processes.Maintain regular communication with the hub regarding ad hoc activities and initiatives.Actively participate in process and system modifications, employing change management best practices.Drive successful onboarding of new employees.Mentor less experienced team members, offering guidance on policies and procedures.Manage both low and high-risk transactions, including initiating and following up on Value-In-Kind requests, facilitating Purchase Requisitions (PR) requests, reviewing client contracts, approving documents on goods/services acceptance, ensuring payments are in accordance with contracts, and facilitating payments.Provide expert advice to business functions on policies and procedures.Deliver training to personnel on policies, procedures, processes, tools, and templates.Collaborate with controlling functions (legal, controllers, compliance, sourcing) to monitor deviations from policies and procedures and participate in the remediation of operational risk and compliance-related issues.Report all incidents or non-compliance issues and participate in resolving internal audit or other compliance issues.Coordinate with policy owners to schedule training sessions.Streamline internal processes to aid business functions in their project execution.Customize training materials to ensure their relevance to local operations.Engage in detective controls and project/program monitoring under the provided guidance.Strategic Nature, Management Accountability, & ScopeEnsures implementation of annual functional goals and plans.Provides direct support to the Senior Director of Operations Support in her areas of responsibility.Decision Making & ComplexityRole interacts with Sales, Acceptance, Marketing, Products, Acceptance and Sourcing.Role also interacts with other support and control functions including Controllership, Compliance and Legal.Expected to demonstrate independent decision-making and quick resolution of issues.Reporting Relationships & InteractionsDirect report to SSA Snr Director, Operations.This individual will be expected to interact effectively with all levels of Visa management and staff.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.QualificationsProfessional• Bachelor's degree or higher - Pref in Finance• 7 - 10 years of either accounting, compliance, or internal control related experience (ideally in a multi-national company)• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work well in a fast paced and high-volume environment• Experience in change management and process enhancements• Contract management, review, guidance and analysis• Exposure to internal audit or internal controls environmentTechnical• Knowledge and Experience of controls and risk management• Proficiency with Microsoft office applications - Excel, Word, Oracle, PowerBI• Knowledge and hands-on experience of Ariba, and other related tools (beneficial)• Experience or knowledge in Artificial Intelligence in process enhancementsBusiness• Strong business ethics• Excellent relationship building skills (interpersonal skills)• Solution orientated thinker / problem solver• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities• Adaptable to change• Good project management skills (Basic)• Excellent time management skills and ability to achieve goals with minimal management oversight• Demonstrated organizational skills• Excellent communication and written skills (English)Additional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.
